Life is better together

God said from the very beginning it is not good for man (or woman) to be alone. We were made to live life together. We are better together!

Small Groups at Grace give you the opportunity to connect with others and form the relationships necessary to become, or remain, a strong Christian. Our small groups are all about people. They are all about you living strong and serving God strong.

You will experience family environments where ministry flows from relationships. We offer many styles of groups ranging from Middle School and High School, Young Adults, Young Marrieds, Couples, Families, Singles, Retirees, Widows and Spanish Speaking. There is a place for you.

Small groups are groups of 8-12 adults who meet every other Sunday night (with a few exceptions) for a time of fellowship and structured Bible teachings. Most often the curriculum is DVD driven. Each group meets in a host home six times each quarter. Small Groups are not in session April, August and December. During the off month, groups will meet together informally for fun and fellowship.

Fellowship
God said from the very beginning it is not good for man (or woman) to be alone. These small groups give you the opportunity to “connect” with others. If you are new to Grace, or a new Christian, this is the fastest and best way to get involved and grow.

Discipleship
Each small group meeting will not just be about fellowship but also studying God’s Word and growing in Christ. This happens through personal relationships. Getting involved in a small group will accelerate your spiritual walk.

Accountability
We all need to be accountable to a few other Christians. Small groups is a way of saying I need other people in my life and they need me. The Bible tells us we need each other to help us keep our commitments.

Sharing
You need a place where you can ask questions, and share what God has spoken in your life. These groups provide you an opportunity to do just that.

Friends
You will meet new friends and grow together in the body of Christ. Remember, even the Lone Ranger needed Tonto.

What is a small group?
Small groups are groups of 8-12 adults who meet every other Sunday night (with a few exceptions) for a time of fellowship and structured Bible teaching.  Each group meets in a host home and is led by an approved and trained small group leader.

How often will we meet?
The small groups will meet only six times each quarter. There will be a total of 18 small group meetings each year. We will meet every other Sunday night (beginning at 6pm) for a three month period. Every three months, we will take a month off. During the off month, groups will meet together informally for fellowship and fun. Months where there will be no small groups are April, August and December.

What is the format for each meeting?
Each meeting will last about 90 minutes. All groups follow the same curriculum.

The format for each meeting will typically follow this pattern:
• Fellowship/Food
• Welcome and Fellowship
• Video Curriculum
• Discussion/Application
• Prayer/Sharing of Need

How Do I Get Involved?
Just fill out the online enrollment form. Please mark your first and second small group preference, if applicable. If there is no preference, we will be glad to assign you to a group we feel would be the best fit.

What about childcare and teenagers?
If you need childcare please indicate that on the enrollment form and we will place you in a group that provides childcare.  There are separate small groups provided for high school and middle school students.  Please fill out and submit a separate enrollment form for each student.
