• Prayer Guardians

    Prayer Guardians is the ministry of praying for the needs of the body of Christ at Grace. It is structured for individual one hour prayer times Monday through Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. We need volunteers to come to the church’s Prayer Room and give one hour per week to pray for the needs of our church, community and world.

  • Passionate Core Prayer

    Every Tuesday morning at 6:30 a.m. and Sunday at 8:15 a.m. Pastor’s Passionate Core of Prayer partners gather in Connection Central for an hour of prayer led by Pastor Wayne. We pray for the church body and the vision Pastor Wayne has for the Church.

  • Men’s Prayer

    Every Saturday at 6:30 a.m. men gather in the Choir Room to call upon the Lord for specific needs.

  • Rey De Reyes

    (Spanish Language Evangelistic Service)

    The SLES Ministry reaches out to the Spanish people community with the gospel and provides a place of worship for the first generation Hispanic. It serves as a ministry bridge to Grace for the following generations of Hispanic believers. We are looking for six nursery volunteers and bus drivers. No Spanish required.

  • Camera Operator

    The Camera Operator is responsible for operating a camera, following the guidance of the director, framing and focusing the shot as well as adjusting the iris and color balance of the camera. The ability to listen and follow directions is essential to the success of this position. No experience is necessary to fill this entry-level position; training will be provided.

  • Choir

    The adult choir is seasonal, primarily focusing on the annual Singing Christmas Tree Spectacular, a community favorite event, as well as our annual Honor Our Heroes event.

  • Computer Graphics (CG) Operator

    The CG Operator will operate computer software that presents the Support Graphics for the service. These graphics will include song lyrics, announcements, sermon points and other forms of graphics needed to support the video presentation. This role is critical in coordinating the song slides with the musicians, the sermon points with the teaching pastor as well as working under the direction of the Video Director. Attention to detail is essential to the success of this position. No experience is necessary for this entry-level position; training will be provided.

  • Front of House (FOH) Mixer

    The Front of House (FOH) Mixer is responsible for the audio mix for the house as well as the monitors on stage. Responsibilities include: set up, sound check, mixing monitors, sending appropriate signals to other sources and striking equipment. Knowledge of audio gain structure as well as experience as FOH experience is needed to fulfill this position. Additional training will be provided.

  • Front of House (FOH) Audio Assistant

    The FOH Audio Assistant assists the FOH Mixer in setup, sound check and mixing responsibilities. They are also available during the services to troubleshoot any problems that may arise. This is both an assistant role as well as a training role. Some basic understanding of sound and music is needed for this entry-level opportunity; training will be provided.

  • Photography

    The volunteer Photographer position will require someone who can be available on an as-needed basis to photograph church related events. The candidate will need to have organizational skills and be able to properly catalog a digital photography database. Computer skills will be necessary and the candidate will need to use their own equipment (digital camera, lenses, computer).

  • Video Director

    The Video Director is responsible for the overall quality of the video presentation for the recording and future IMAG. The director will coordinate the efforts of the camera operators and CG operators to create the “video service” for the recording and future IMAG screens. The ability to multi-task, understand the equipment and how it is being used by each team member as well as follow the flow of the service is essential to the success of this position. Experience is not necessary to fill the position; training will be provided.

  • Sanctuary Worship Team(s)

    Vocalists and musicians for the Sanctuary Worship Team rehearse every Tuesday night and rotate every other Sunday.  There are a variety of ministries that need worship leaders, vocalists and musicians (Youth Ministry, Children’s Church, Homeless Ministry, Celebrate Recovery, Nursing Home Ministry and others.)

  • Children’s Church (The KOG)

    The KOG happens simultaneously with the Sunday morning Adult Worship Service. Children ages 1st -6th Grade experience a “full-blown” service, geared especially for them. Pastor Ryan Jackson leads the children in Holy Spirit empowered worship, Bible based teaching and God en¬countering altar times. Adults are needed for student check in, child supervision, altar ministry and more.

  • Nursery/ Preschool Servants

    The Nursery ministers to children from age 6 weeks to 5 years providing great care in a safe environment during all of the services. This is ministry in its truest form, blessing God’s precious gifts. Angie Phares is the Nursery/ Preschool Director. Volunteers are needed to provide care and ministry during all services.

  • Junior Bible Quiz

    JBQ is an exciting place to be every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. (Rooms 202-204). Children ages K-6th grade study and memorize Bible verses and questions. Quiz matches are held monthly (October-March) when Grace competes against other A/G churches from around the state. We need weekly volunteers as well as coaches and officials for our monthly meets. Lori Richardson leads this ministry. The JBQ season begins in August and goes through March.

  • Wednesday Boy’s Ministry

    Club Hero is a mentoring program for boys. We provide Christ-like character formation and servant leadership development for boys in a highly relational and fun environment. Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and lifelong servant leaders. We are in need of a 1st-2nd grade boys Teacher and assistant and a 3rd-4th grade assistant teacher.

  • Wednesday Night Girl’s Ministry

    The Girl’s Ministry is for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. These classes provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders.

  • Club 4:12

    (5th and 6th grade) Wednesday Night

    Club 4:12 is a ministry for Jr. High Kids in 5-6th grade. This name comes from 1 Timothy 4:12. The purpose of this ministry is to reach 5th and 6th graders for Jesus in a Jr. High ministry setting. During these times together, there will be a lesson, games, worship, and prayer. On the third Wednesday night, Club 4:12 volunteers at the Storehouse for a mission’s emphasis. There is a need for adult women who would like to work with Jr. High Girls.

  • Grace Students

    (7th through 12th grade)

    Grace Students is a ministry that focuses on students in 7th-12th grade. The services are packed with high energy worship, fun elements and illustrations, and a relevant message of God’s Word for students. We believe in three core values: Love God, Love Others, Love Yourself. If students can follow God’s direction in these areas they will grow closer in their walk with Jesus and in their relationships with others.

  • Jr. High Youth Ministry

    Jr. High Ministry – We’re anxious to launch this ministry that does not yet formally exist. This will be a ministry specifically for students 6th – 8th grade.

  • Grace Young Adults

    This ministry is for single young adults 18-25 years old. They meet every Wednesday night in Room 108 and are in a small group with Pastor Tim and Angie Davis.

  • The Link

    All young adults, ages 18-29, are invited to join us for The Link at the Grace Annex one Sunday per month. We are strengthening our LINK to God and each other. We have a live worship experience, a powerful and challenging message, and an opportunity for extended altar time as we respond to God’s word. Then following the service we share a great free meal together.

  • Men’s Ministry

    The Men’s Ministry challenges, trains and instructs the men and boys of Grace into a lifetime of spiritual discipline that will assist them in maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This occurs in small discipleship groups (navigators 2:7 series), special events like Men’s Retreat, Father/Son Campout, Wild Game Feast and monthly gatherings. Mentors, discipleship group leaders and participants are needed at this time.

  • Women’s Ministry

    Women of Grace Ministries exists to build a community of Godly women. Through powerful Bible studies and beautiful Christmas Banquets and events, our prayer is that hearts are encouraged. Colossians 2:2 “May you be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love . . .” Ladies are needed to host tables for the annual Christmas Banquet and to help coordinate details of the Bible Studies.

  • Communion Preparation

    Holy Communion is a sacred time in our services. Help is needed in prayerfully preparing the elements as part of a monthly rotation team.

  • Connection Partners

    Every week there are first time guests at Grace. Volunteers are needed to follow up with our guests via a telephone call within 48 hours of their visit.

  • Home Communion

    Unfortunately, there are those that belong to our Grace Family that are homebound or in nursing homes and are unable to attend services. This ministry is in need of anyone who would like to visit the homebound and share communion with them.

  • Grace Greeters

    Greeters are some of the first people to welcome guests to our services. They provide a warm welcome to all who attend on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. This is an entry level ministry opportunity open to anyone/any age with hospitality gifts. This is a one Sunday a month commitment. A variety of ages is desired for this vital ministry.

  • ‘Grace Cares’ Ministry

    Grace cares when a family is facing difficulty due to hospitalization, surgeries, child birth, loss of a family member, etc. This ministry provides meals to families who have faced these types of circumstances. We need people who will volunteer to provide a meal to those who have been hospitalized or help provide food for funeral meals.

  • DivorceCare

    DivorceCare is a 13 week support group for individuals who are separated, going through a divorce or already divorced. Grace offers DivorceCare 3 times a year. Wednesday night sessions start in January and August and meet from 7 to 8:30 and we offer a Sunday class which starts in April and meets from 11:00 to 12:30.   • Grief Share

    Grief Share is a support group for those who have lost a loved one. All of us at some time in life have been deeply touched by the loss of someone close to us. Grief Share will help you to sort through the emotions and get started down the road to healing.

  • Ladies’ Bible Study with Janie Neely

    Every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Hospitality Room Janie Neely leads ladies through the study of God’s Word in a systematic structure. This study develops a hunger in women of all ages for the Living Word!

  • Missions Committee and Missions Trips

    The Missions Committee helps plan and coordinate the annual Missions Convention at Grace. They also stay in contact with the hundreds of missionaries our church supports on a monthly basis. The Missions Team also helps coordinates a variety of missions trips annually. If you would like to serve on the Missions Team or coordinate a missions trip, we would love to have you join us.

  • Parking Lot Ministry

    Men and women who serve in the parking lot are literally the first impression guests have of Grace. They arrive early before each service, help direct traffic and welcome everyone to the service. Men and women are needed at this time to help, as parking is a major factor in the growth of the Grace.

  • Retiree’s Fellowship

    This ministry provides a way and a place for retirees’ to fellowship with each other and to care and share with each other. A devotional at each meeting will help you to grow in GOD’S word and learn how to apply it to your lives.

  • Sanctuary Hosts

    This group intentionally provides oversight for specific sections in the sanctuary. This ensures that everyone who attends Grace is welcomed each time they come. We are looking for men and women who will oversee a specific section of the church sanctuary and welcome all who attend.

  • Service Monitor (Security)

    When we meet for services at Grace it is important that even those who arrive late receive a warm welcome and direction. Men and women are needed to provide help in monitoring the hallways during services.

  • Ushers

    Ushers help direct worshipers with seating, serve communion, help take up the offering and meet the needs of every worshiper in every service in the main sanctuary. Young adults, teens, men and women are encouraged to volunteer.

  • Welcome/Resource Center Hosts

    The Resource Centers are located at every entrance of the church. Resource Center Hosts are there to answer anyone’s questions about the church and provide resources for purchase (sermons, books, etc). Hosts are in place before, in between and after every service. Hosts are presently needed for Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

  • Small Groups

    Small Groups are the best way for people get connected at Grace. Currently more than 40 small groups are in place and meet every other Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. All small group meetings last ninety minutes. The majority of the time, ministry to a specific group in the body of Christ takes place through the small groups. There are groups for widows, single adults, single parents, men, women, families, young couples, young adults, high school and more. Middle school groups meet at the church. Currently we are looking for both host homes (people who will open their home and allow a small group to meet there) and new small group leaders.

  • Sew Compassion

    This ministry encourages people to use their God given talent to make a variety of crafts and articles of clothing for those in need while building Godly relationships.

  • Angelcare

    Angel Care is a “soon to be” residential home for young ladies facing an unplanned pregnancy. Volunteers are needed for fundraising, mailers, newsletters and much more.

  • ‘Are You a Good Person?’ Booth

    This Evangelism Ministry presents the gospel of Jesus Christ in creative ways at local community events (county fair, freedom festival). Volunteers are needed to be trained and to take part in this ministry.

  • Bread of Life Homeless Ministry

    Every Saturday morning a team of volunteers goes to downtown Indy to feed, clothe and minister to homeless people. The Homeless Ministry is looking for volunteers to help serve food, help cook the meals (Friday nights), lead in worship, pray with guests and help provide clothes and food.

  • Bus Ministry

    Many times the only way kids can come to church is if we reach out to them. The Bus Ministry needs a leader who will go out into the neighborhoods, pick up children and provide a strategic and powerful ministry service for them at the Grace Annex. A leader is needed to spearhead this ministry.

  • CareNet Crises Pregnancy Center

    Johnson County CareNet offers ministry to those who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy situation. Various kinds of help can be obtained through CareNet. Volunteers are needed to provide office support, building maintenance and counseling for families.

  • Communications Team

    We need a volunteer (or a team) to coordinate publicity for all events at Grace. This person would write press releases, oversee advertising and promotion using all avenues of media. If interested, contact Pastor Wayne.

  • F.R.E.E. Indiana

    F.R.E.E. Indiana is committed to bring awareness to and encourage involvement of local faith based communities, schools, businesses, organizations and government agencies in the fight against human trafficking (sex and labor), in Indiana.

  • Grace Sports Ministry

    Coaches and players are needed to form teams in a variety of sports. We participate in local leagues as a way of connecting and growing together. Sports include volleyball, softball, basketball and more.

  • Quitters (Celebrate Recovery)

    Quitters is a support group ministry that meets every Wednesday night at the Grace Annex. Chaplains Russ & Judy Cockrum oversee Quitters. Volunteers are needed to provide worship, support group leaders, intercessors and more.

  • M.O.P.S.

    MOPS is a fellowship and discipleship ministry for Mothers of Pre Schoolers. MOPS meets at Grace on the second and third Tuesdays starting in September. If you would like to be part of this ministry and help reach out to other moms, join us.

  • N.A.M.E. Free Marriage Counseling

    Marital crisis is one of the major issues in our community. We are looking for married couples who are willing to provide support and counseling for married couples who are in crisis and need encouragement and prayer. Couples are trained through the National Association of Marriage Enhancement Ministry based out of Phoenix Arizona. More couples are needed to help rescue hurting marriages.

  • Nursing Home Ministry

    Every Sunday a team from Grace goes to a local nursing home to minister to the residents there. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with these precious people and their families. No specialized talent required, just a desire to minister.

  • Storehouse

    Storehouse Ministries exists to glorify God and serve our community by distributing furniture, beds, linens, appliances, small household items, dishes, pots & pans, books, toys and clothing to people in our community in need. Many volunteers are needed for various jobs.

  • Truth and Compassion

    This ministry reaches out to save the unborn that would otherwise be lost to abortion. Vol¬unteers are needed to provide intercession and prayer covering, newsletter distribution as well as counseling support.

  • Unchained Jail and Prison Ministry

    Unchained is known throughout America for reaching those who are incarcerated with Christ’s message of hope. Volunteers are needed to visit jails and prisons, provide intercession and support.

  • Vet 2 Vet Support Group

    This support group meets every Monday night at the Grace Annex. Chaplains Russ and Judy Cockrum lead this ministry to those who have served or are serving in any branch of the military. Volunteers are needed to be support group leaders, counselors and intercessors.

  • Young Married’s Fellowship

    This ministry provides opportunities for relationship building among married couples 30 years and younger. We are looking for couples in this age group to assist in planning and promoting these events.
